An early morning fire out break (around 3:00 am) destroyed the shelter and displaced the people that rely on the food and shelter we provide for the community of Timmins and Area.

Two residents were taken to the Timmins and District Hospital by paramedics; one from smoke inhalation and the other sustained third degree burns.

The 14 residents left were taken to the Senator Hotel and the Red Cross will be paying for their stay temporarily.
